JLC Construction and Outdoor Structures is a family-owned and operated business. After working in the construction industry from a young age, Josh ventured out and started the business in 2008 . When JLC Construction and Outdoor Structures first started, it began with a primary focus on roofing. From there the company has grown and now specializes in outdoor structures and amenities. He also does interior remodeling focusing on kitchens and bathrooms. Josh and his wife Erika both grew up in the Spring-Klein area. They love the area so much that this is where they've put down their roots and are raising their two small children. They are huge SHSU fans - Go Bear Cats! They enjoy all outdoor activities from roller staking, fishing, biking to spending time with their kids as much as possible. Josh has coached his daughter’s soccer team and as a family they attend all her select soccer games and tournaments. They are supporters of the local school district, Klein ISD, and are a Partner in Education with the district. They volunteer at the elementary school their daughter attends and are a sponsor there. If there is a weekend where Josh needs to be at a job site to finish a couple of items on a project, it would not be a surprise to see his two children there helping him - truly a family-owned and operated company.

Experience Josh has worked for some of the best residential home builders in the Houston area building new homes, including Meritage Homes. At a young age he began learning construction while working with his uncle who owns a successful roofing company in The Woodlands, TX. Josh has been around construction since the age of 16 with experience from top to bottom, roofs to foundations and everything in between throughout his career. This history and in-depth knowledge of the residential home business is what leads him to be a successful contractor now. His background allows him to provide clients with educated information to help them make the best decision for their homes and budget. He has learned that it is not just his high-quality craftmanship that continually earns his company repeat business, but also the emphasis he puts on excellent customer services for his clients.

With Josh's vast experience he has grown a service area that extends over a large portion of the Houston metro area focusing on Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball and Cypress. Our service area also extends out to Montgomery, Magnolia, Katy, Houston, Conroe, Willis and Hempstead.
